On Tuesday evening the Clogs v Chairman's XI match took place in aid of the clubs charity Bowl Cancer UK, despite some heavy rain mid afternoon Brim once again worked his magic to prepare a wicket for this T20 match to take place.

The toss was won by the Chairman's VI who put Clogs into bat after a steady start Clogs ended their innings on 127 for 6 from their 20 overs with major contributions from James Beswick (23) and Andy Heath (17) Anthony Duggan (19) with remaining batman all making double figure scores.

The star of the Chairman's bowling attack was Tom Palmer with 2/16 and Dom Bannister 1/6 from their two overs all the bowlers were back up by some tight fielding.

In reply the Chairman's VI got off to a flying start with Freddie Colman scoring 27 from just 15 balls including two huge sixes after Freddie retired the Clogs bowling attack dragged the scoring rate back with some tight middle overs with 2/6 from Dan Baker - Martin Oliver conceding just five runs from his two overs and Tony Hampson (Big T) confusing the opposition batsman with unique style of flight and pace off bowling. However a excellent 25 from Tom Palmer confirmed his all round man of the match performance and a quick fire18 Dom Bannister saw the Chairman's VI home midway through the 18th over.

An excellent game played in the traditional Clogs spirit raising £250 for the Bowl Cancer charity in memory of Hollie Hill a big thanks to Carol Berry on the BBQ and everyone who helped to make it such an enjoyable evening.
