On Tuesday 3rd December the CLOGS held their end of season dinner at the Thai Rama Restaurant in Colwall. It was a great night of wonderful food and excellent company. Dave Cole-Parsons, the captain, talked about what a great season the CLOGS have had this year. He relayed the statistics for bowling and batting by the team and what a great atmosphere was enjoyed on Tuesday evenings when playing both at home and away. The 2024 6-a-side Cricket Tournament (which was resurrected in 2023) was a great success again this year and Dave thanked everyone for their help.
Kim was also present and spoke about the contribution the CLOGS make to the club. He described his joy on Tuesday nights watching the CLOGS games and the Senior Teams net practice.
Congratulations to James Beswick who was awarded Player of the Year and Tubs (Dave Hall) for Clubman of the Year, by the Captain, both well deserved. Rob and Jane Kendrick were also presented with gifts and Dave was presented with a gift for his services, as captain to the CLOGS by Tubs and Andrew.
In May 2025 the CLOGS will be 40years old after being established on 4th May 1985. If anyone is interested in playing social cricket on a Tuesday evening please contact Dave Cole-Parsons on 07976392781/dcp2711@aol.com
