On Monday Clogs travelled to Barnard's Green to play a strong Madresfield side in a T20 game.
Winning the toss Clogs asked the opposition to bat on a lovely summers evening.
Madresfield made a slow and steady start against some tight bowling after their 20 overs Madresfield had scored a competitive 145 with excellent knocks from Leschalles (26) and Barry (27) the only wicket to fall was to Tony Hampson who once again deceived the opposition batsman.
Clogs started their reply in fine fashion with openers Andrew Heath and Chris Kendall putting on a good opening partnership with the fall of Kendall Dan Baker continued the the scoring with a quick fire 25,
After the fall of Andy Heath for 20 and the retirement of Dan Baker a well constructed innings of 22 not out from Harry Evans and an excellent 18 not out from Mark Pedder against a strong bowling attack saw Clogs reach the winning target in the 19th over with 9 balls to spare a great all round effort from the whole team.
Post match the team enjoyed Pizzas 1purchased from a local Pizzeria and a pint many thanks to the Madresfield team for an excellent evening of competitive cricket played in the right spirit.
